Minnesota Electrical Continuing Education Courses
License Renewal Deadline:
Journeyman Electricians: Every two years on the date issued.
Master Electricians: Every two years by March 1st of odd years.
Continuing Education Requirements:
Journeyman and Master Electricians: 16 hours of which 12 hours must be on the National Electrical Code and the remainder on the statutes and rules governing electrical installations, Minnesota Statutes, sections 326B.31 to 326B.399, and Minnesota Rules, parts 3800.3500 to 3800.3810, or technical topics related to electrical installations and equipment.

NO ONLINE COURSES ARE PERMITTED AT THIS TIME. Take one of our courses on your own to improve your knowledge of the NEC. When you complete your course, we will email you a Certificate of Completion to print and keep for your records.
